These past two…or maybe three weeks have really been tough on me.   Both physically and psychologically.

As many of you who have followed me here from a previous location know,  I am a pretty busy person.

It reached a new level…combined with a serious attack of a virus in the house.

The whole scenario really has really erased my brain of  “funny.”

I can’t imagine that funny things aren’t happening anymore…it is just that I am not seeing it.   The whole thing is a weird feeling…looking at a page of news stories and being able to pound out a joke or two.

It just isn’t there.

Maybe it’ll come back to me soon enough.

Maybe I need some medication.


  1. Maybe you just need to give yourself a break for a little while. After a few weeks like you’ve just described, your body and your sense of funny are probable still trying to recuperate.

  2. Dude, give yourself a bit of a chance to catch up. This time of year is always hard. We won’t hold it against you if you’re not funny all.the.time. Ok, maybe a little, but still!
    If nothing works you could always turn to the medication with the title ‘egg nog’, or ‘beer’ of if you’re really hard up, ‘jack daniels’.

  4. Those ladies above offer advice on which I cannot improve. It’s nice that you post to update your readers, even in the absence of comedy.


    I’m sure you’ll soon be right as rain, whatever that’s supposed to mean. 🙂
